DESCRIPTION:Creating inclusive learning experiences requires more than a single tool or strategy. Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Accessible Educational Materials (AEM), and Assistive Technology (AT) are often discussed separately, but they are most powerful when they work together. This interactive workshop explores the natural connections among UDL, AEM and AT and how they collectively reduce barriers to learning for all students. Participants will learn how proactive design, accessible content, and individualized supports complement one another to create flexible, equitable learning environments. Through examples and demonstrations, attendees will examine common instructional materials and identify opportunities to improve accessibility and learner access. Participants will leave with actionable tools for immediate implementation and a clear understanding of how to integrate UDL, AEM, and AT into everyday practice.
