Assistive Technology Transition Summit 2 Archived

Location: Hybrid (Limited in-person seating at T/TAC VT office, Zoom virtual option available.)

Target Audience: Secondary students, educators, school administrators, related service providers, and families.

Event Information: The T/TAC at Virginia Tech and the Virginia Assistive Technology Network will be hosting a hybrid panel discussion around the transition process for students with disabilities that use assistive technology from secondary to employment and community-based settings. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for panelists to respond to. Panel ists will include institutional representatives from:

  • The Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitation Services (DARS)
  • The Virginia Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI)
  • The Center on Transition Innovations at VCU
  • New River Valley Community Services
