The T/TAC at Virginia Tech & TechKnowledgy (VDOE's AT Network) will be hosting a hybrid panel discussion around the transition process for students with disabilities that use assistive technology from secondary to post-secondary institutions (primarily 2 and 4-year colleges). Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for panelists to respond to. Panelists will include institutional representatives from:
- Virginia Tech (including a current student that uses AT)
- The University of Virginia
- George Mason University
- Southern Virginia University
- Tidewater Community College
- Loudoun County Public Schools
- The Virginia Department of Aging and Rehabilitation Services (DARS)
Target Audience: Secondary students, educators, school administrators, related service providers, and families.
Whilst AT Network strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so when linking to documents and sites outside of our site. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring these other areas up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
