It Takes a Village: Positioning for Success
Presented by: Christine Prior, Danielle Fournier & Team
Date & Time:
Tuesday, November 19, 2024 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM ET
Location: Highlands
(Lower Level
)
In this session we will explore case studies of two students with cerebral palsy, discussing the needs of both students regarding positioning, vision, and fine/gross motor skills. All these areas played a role in choosing assistive technology, specifically SGDs for each student. We will discuss how each related service staff member on the student’s team played a crucial role to ensure the student’s needs were met.
Whilst AT Network strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so when linking to documents and sites outside of our site. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring these other areas up to the same level of overall web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficulty in accessing the material, please don’t hesitate to contact us at matthewn@vt.edu.
