Trekita has been working with students with diverse learning needs since 2007. She has collaborated closely with occupational, speech, and physical therapists, as well as other educational professionals, to support individualized student success. She is currently in her second year as an assistive technology teacher for Norfolk Public Schools, helping students access learning through innovative and inclusive tools.
