Beth Poss is a Speech-Language Pathologist and is currently the Director of Educational Programs for LessonPix. She has previously served as an assistant principal, special education supervisor, curriculum writer, and assistive technology team member with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland. She is passionate about using visual supports and customized high-quality educational resources to support all students in accessing a rigorous curriculum in a Universally Designed Learned educational environment. She is an adjunct faculty member for Johns Hopkins University and presents nationally on best practices in Early Childhood, Special Education, Assistive Technology, Instructional Technology and Universal Design for Learning. Areas of special interest include Designing Inclusive Learning Environments, Visual Supports for Students with Disabilities, and Culturally Responsive Teaching.
