Conference Program
Part 1 and Part 2 will explore different content and each will include a different make-and-take
This session will provide specific strategies designed to build skills to meet the needs of all young children through a universally designed for learning classroom. Participants will learn how to locate and build resources for their classrooms or practices that are both accessible and relevant for the young children served. We will explore digital libraries and other ready-to-go accessible materials that engage all learners as well as tools that allow assistive technology providers and educators to tailor their materials to the specific needs of their students. Participants will have the opportunity to examine their current educational practices in order to improve access to education for all children. A hands-on make-and-take during both Part 1 and Part 2 will allow participants to locate and create accessible and relevant materials to take back to their schools and classrooms.
