Barbara Lent is a speech-language pathologist with more than 30 years of experience in working with adults and children with complex communication disorders. She is the manager of a large therapy team at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Brook Road Campus. She provides AAC evaluations and treatment to children and adults with complex communication needs. Barbara received an Assistive Technology Certificate at the University of Illinois at Chicago, in December 2015. She has presented at local, state and national conferences on topics related to AAC, caregiver/staff training and program development.
