Missy has been a practicing pediatric physical therapist for 33 years. After graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia, she began her career at Children's Hospital of the King's daughters (CHKD) in Norfolk, VA. She worked at CHKD for 17 years and was also a physical therapy supervisor for seven years. In 2005, she began working at Physiotherapy Associates (now Select Kids) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She worked in the outpatient office as well as in the Early Intervention Setting in several cities. In 2018, Missy completed her transitional Doctorate. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at Old Dominion University's Physical Therapy Graduate Program. In 2022, Missy opened Play Time Physical Therapy and Associates. She bases all her treatments around play as this is the job of babies, toddlers, and children.
