This session highlights an innovative collaboration between the CTE and the special education departments supporting the development of life skills within vocational courses offered within the general education setting. We will look at the crosswalk between the CTE curriculum and current life skills/vocational curriculum used. Specifically, it will identify key connections found between our life skills/vocational classes and culinary arts, the UDL and AT strategies put in place, and a detailed plan of building skills needed to transition from life skills/vocational to CTE.
