Help! How Do I Support Compliance with House Bill 2219? Face-to-Face
Presented by: Lauren Kravetz Bonnet, Sandra Alexander, Jeanna Jackson and Sarah Peters
Location: Highlands
(Lower Level
)
This session focuses on one district's approach to IEP documentation and staff training for students who need/use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in compliance with House Bill 2219 (Code of Virginia 22.1-217.4). Example materials will be shared and opportunities applying the decision tree with case studies.
Whilst AT Network strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so when linking to documents and sites outside of our site. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring these other areas up to the same level of overall web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficulty in accessing the material, please don’t hesitate to contact us at matthewn@vt.edu.
