Necessary Considerations for the Selection and Implementation of AAC Face-to-Face

For individuals who are not successfully using verbal speech as their primary form of communication, it is essential for educators and supporters to consider augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Helping learners use AAC effectively requires a collaborative effort along with specific knowledge and skills. This session breaks that work down into six key aspects of becoming awesome at supporting individuals learning language using AAC.
