Date & Time: Wednesday, November 20, 2019 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
Wednesday, November 20, 2019 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM ET

When a student’s sensory needs are met, they can be more focused, engaged and ready to learn. Nicole will share how the staff at Gladeville Elementary School work together to meet the needs of ALL students. Their sensory room, mobile sensory path, sensory bins and alternate seating are available to all students. As sensory needs change and students move throughout the grades, sensory items move too! Sensory materials are seen as school resources rather than individual items for a specific student. During this presentation Nicole will share how they created and use their sensory room and mobile sensory path. She will also share other strategies and materials used throughout the school and how everyone from the school resource officer to the reading coach gets involved.

Whilst AT Network strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so when linking to documents and sites outside of our site. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring these other areas up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
