Christina is a certified teacher for the blind and visually impaired (TBVI) and an ACVREP Certified Assistive Technology Instructional Specialist (CATIS). She received her BA in Sociology from Kent State University in 1997. Christina received her licensure and certification as a special education teacher for students with visual impairments from Old Dominion University in 2018, and her Master of Education in Vision Studies with a concentration in Assistive Technology for Individuals with Visual Impairment in 2021 from UMass Boston.
